Academy Policy
Attendance, conduct, and general rules that keep learning clear, respectful, and consistent for every family.
Last Updated: July 28, 20261. Attendance & Absence Rules
Regular attendance is essential for steady progress in Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies. Students and parents/guardians are expected to attend all scheduled classes on time.
If a student will be late or unable to attend a class, the Academy must be notified at least one hour before the scheduled class time, by contacting our support team at support@quranbookonline.com.
If a student does not attend a class without prior notice (“no-show”), the class is counted as completed and deducted from the student’s balance as usual, with no compensation.
There is no fixed number of absences that automatically triggers a formal action such as a warning or suspension. However, if a clear pattern of repeated absence is noticed, the Academy may send a friendly recommendation to the student/parent to help get attendance back on track.
2. Code of Conduct
The following conduct rules apply to the student attending the class. They help maintain a respectful, focused, and Islamically appropriate learning environment for everyone.
Expected from the Student
- Respecting the teacher and not interrupting during the lesson.
- Following general Islamic etiquette (adab) in speech and behavior throughout the class.
- Wearing modest attire and joining from a suitable, appropriate background/environment.
- Keeping the camera and microphone on for the full duration of the class.
If a student (particularly a young child) is not focused or not maintaining good behavior during the class, the teacher assesses the situation in the moment and decides how best to handle it.
Any conduct concern is evaluated by the teacher, or by academy staff if supervising the class at that time. If an actual violation of these rules occurs (such as disrespect toward the teacher or otherwise inappropriate behavior), the Academy’s administration reviews each case individually; there is no fixed, one-size-fits-all procedure, as appropriate action depends on the specific circumstances.
3. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities & Communication
Parents and guardians play an important role in supporting their child’s learning journey with us. This section outlines what is expected from them and how to reach the Academy.
- The official channel for all communication with the Academy — inquiries, concerns, complaints, or requests — is support@quranbookonline.com.
- Parents/guardians are expected to follow up on their child’s progress and level, and to reach out to the Academy promptly if any issue or concern arises.
- Parents/guardians are responsible for making sure the student’s device and internet connection are ready and working before each scheduled class.
4. Teacher Change / Reassignment Policy
We want every student to feel comfortable and connected with their teacher, so switching teachers is always an option.
- A student or parent/guardian may request a teacher change at any time and without needing to state a specific reason. Requests can be sent to support@quranbookonline.com.
- The Academy may also reassign a teacher on its own for operational reasons (for example, a teacher’s resignation or an unforeseen circumstance), without a prior request from the student.
5. Materials & Platform Usage Policy
All classes take place through Zoom. To protect the quality and integrity of our teaching materials, the following rules apply:
- Recording a class (video or audio) by the student/parent is only allowed with prior permission from the Academy.
- Class links and learning materials are strictly for enrolled students. Sharing them with anyone who is not enrolled in the Academy is not permitted under any circumstances.
6. Rescheduling Policy (Student-Initiated)
If a student needs to reschedule a class, notice must be given at least one hour before the scheduled class time (see Section 1), by contacting support@quranbookonline.com. In this case, the class can be moved to another suitable time instead of being lost.
- A maximum of 3 reschedule/make-up requests per month is allowed. Beyond this limit, any further absence in that month is treated as a regular absence with no make-up class.
- The make-up class can be scheduled for any suitable time within the same month — there is no fixed weekly deadline.
- The make-up class may be held with any available teacher based on scheduling, and is not required to be with the student’s original teacher.
7. Direct Teacher Communication Policy
To protect the privacy and professionalism of both students and teachers, all communication must go through the Academy’s official channels.
- Students and parents/guardians are not permitted to request a teacher’s personal phone number, WhatsApp, or personal social media accounts.
- Teachers are likewise not permitted to contact students or parents/guardians directly outside the Academy’s official channels.
- All communication should go through support@quranbookonline.com or the official class platform.
8. General Terms
