Course 1 · For beginners
Quran Reading for Adults: Start From the First Letter
Learning to read the Quran correctly is the first step. This course is for adults who never learned the Arabic letters, and for those returning after years away who now read with mistakes. Your teacher starts at your level and makes sure you pronounce each letter correctly, from its proper point of articulation.
Nour El Bayan and Noorani Qaida for Adult Beginners
Lessons follow trusted beginner methods such as Nour El Bayan and the Noorani Qaida. Both teach reading in the right order: single letters first, then joined letters, then vowels and words, and finally recitation.
- No prior Arabic needed: lessons begin with the letters and their sounds
- Joined letters, short vowels, Sukun, Shaddah, Tanween and Madd
- Your first Tajweed rules, leading to reciting short Surahs
- Calm, live correction every time you read aloud

Tajweed for Adults: Recite the Quran Correctly
The Quran was revealed with Tajweed and should be recited as it was revealed. Many adults read with the sounds of their native language and make mistakes they cannot hear themselves. Your teacher first listens to you recite, then plans lessons around your level: building the foundations, correcting your recitation, or helping you apply rules you already know but miss while reading.
- Makharij: where each Arabic letter is produced, including letters English speakers often confuse
- Rules of Noon Sakinah, Tanween and Meem Sakinah
- Madd (lengthening vowels) and Qalqalah
- Applying every rule while reciting real passages, with live correction
Allah instructs: “…and recite the Quran with measured recitation” (Surah Al-Muzzammil, 73:4). For an overview of all the rules, see our free Tajweed rules guide.

Quran Memorization for Adults: A Steady Hifz Plan
Quran memorization for adults works best as a steady plan, not a race. Whether you are starting with the short Surahs you recite in prayer, working toward the whole Quran, or returning to memorization you have let slip, your teacher hears you recite and keeps your plan realistic.
- Your teacher checks letters, vowels and Tajweed in every portion
- New portions sized to your reading level and your schedule
- Regular revision of both recent and older memorization
- A plan that adjusts as life gets busier or your Hifz grows stronger
Practise between lessons with our free Quran memorization and Tafseer tool, featuring the recitation of Sheikh Al-Husary.

- Fiqh: rulings of worship and daily life
- Hadith: the Prophet’s ﷺ guidance
- Seerah: the Prophet’s ﷺ biography
- Tafseer: explanation of the Quran
- Akhlaq: manners, ethics and character
Tafseer Online for Adults
Tafseer lessons explain what verses say, the context in which they were revealed, and how scholars have understood them, so you can understand the meanings of what you recite in every prayer.
Hadith lessons draw on authentic collections such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, which you can browse on Sunnah.com. Subjects are taught at an introductory-to-foundational level for personal learning.
