1. Introduction & Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Quran Book Academy. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, teacher portal, mobile application, and all related Quran, Arabic, and Islamic studies services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform — whether to browse our programs, register for a class, or use our free learning resources — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Academy Policy, and Refund/Cancellation Policy, which together form the complete agreement between you and Quran Book Academy.

2. General Use of the Website/Platform

Who Can Use the Platform

The Platform is designed for use by adults with legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement — typically a parent or legal guardian registering on behalf of themselves and/or their child, or any adult enrolling for their own studies. When a parent/guardian registers a minor for our programs, they do so as the responsible “User” under these Terms and confirm they have the authority to act on the child’s behalf.

Children benefit from and participate in our classes and learning materials, but are not themselves considered “Users” for the purposes of accepting these Terms — that responsibility remains with the registering adult.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for its intended educational purpose and in a manner consistent with the Islamic values on which Quran Book Academy is built.

Prohibited Conduct

Without limiting the above, you agree that you will not:

• Share your account login credentials (username/password) with any other person.
• Copy, download, record, or redistribute any Platform content — including videos, PDFs, or educational games — without prior written permission from the Academy.
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems, or use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to interact with the Platform.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that conflicts with the Islamic values and educational mission of the Academy.

3. Intellectual Property

Ownership of Content

All educational materials created by the Academy — including our videos, HTML5 learning games, worksheets, teaching files, and the Quran Book Academy logo and brand — are the exclusive property of Quran Book Academy and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Some content presented on the Platform, such as the text of the Holy Quran and certain open-source translations (for example, Saheeh International), is not owned by the Academy and belongs to the broader Muslim Ummah / original source as applicable. However, the specific arrangement, formatting, and interactive presentation of this content within our lessons and games remains the property of the Academy.

Class Recordings

Recordings of live class sessions are provided for the personal educational use of the enrolled student and their family only. Copying, redistributing, publishing, or sharing any class recording is strictly prohibited without prior written permission from the Academy.

Trademark

“Quran Book Academy,” our logo, and related branding are trademarks of the Academy. You may not use our name, logo, or branding for any purpose without prior written consent.

License to Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Academy grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to access and use the Platform’s content for your own (or your child’s) educational purposes, for as long as your account/subscription remains active. This license does not transfer any ownership rights in the content to you.

4. Limitation of Liability

While we work hard to provide a reliable and high-quality learning experience, there are certain matters outside of our control for which the Academy cannot be held responsible, including:

• Actions, decisions, or service interruptions caused by third-party providers, such as our hosting provider (Hostinger) or any payment gateway used to process transactions.
• Temporary service interruptions or technical issues arising from factors beyond our reasonable control, such as server downtime or internet connectivity issues.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Academy’s total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount actually paid by you to the Academy during the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

5. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable United States courts.

6. Account Termination

Either the Academy or the account holder (student/parent/guardian) may terminate the account relationship at any time, subject to the terms below.

Termination by the Academy

The Academy may suspend or terminate a user’s account in any of the following cases:

• Violation of any of the Prohibited Conduct rules outlined in Section 2.
• Failure to make payment, or repeated late payment, of amounts due.
• Inappropriate behavior by the student or parent/guardian toward teachers or Academy staff.
• Providing false or misleading information during registration.

Termination by the User

You may cancel your subscription or close your account at any time by contacting our support team.

Effect of Termination

Where an account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, any amounts already paid are non-refundable. For cancellations not related to a violation, please refer to our Refund/Cancellation Policy for applicable terms.

7. Modifications to These Terms

The Academy may update or modify these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.

For minor changes (such as clarifications or corrections), the updated “Last Updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the revision. For material changes that significantly affect your rights or obligations, we will notify registered users by email prior to the changes taking effect.

Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
